Before now, I never really thought about listing all the countries I have visited...like, who cares? BUT I DO!
I wish I could visit a few more as I’m running out of time, as well as money! So here is my running sheet...
Visited and lived in for a year:
Zimbabwe: A farewell to southern Africa’s crown. Visit if you can...if only to see the ruins and the wildlife.
South Africa, UK including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Then... Botswana, Malawi, Zambia, Uganda, Mozambique, Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Turkey, Canada, USA, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Morocco (I visited 4 times) India, New Zealand, Nepal, Singapore, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka (it was Ceylon then) France, Iran, Switzerland, Portugal, Germany and Ireland!
I think that covers it...I tried 3 times to go to China, but they wouldn’t let me in!!! I did go to Hong Kong a couple of times. Algeria turned me away at their London UK office. They pointed 3 rifles at me and sent me away. This was about 1968.
If I had to choose a favourite it would be Morocco and then Afghanistan, obviously in peace times again.
I make that 35, including the 4 countries of the UK and I’m proud of it!

Wow, finally something I can claim to have out done you! My own count I'm up to 86 or 87 countries and counting.
PS: I have a feeling you have left out a couple of countries at least, as I'm sure you've been to Germany & Switzerland.
